In this role you will be end-responsible for the electrical design, estimates and proposals for all our Royal IHC vessels and products. The portfolio includes the application of drives, motors, generators, switchboards and vessel automation (in short the electrical installation) all within the maritime industry.
As our Team Lead you manage the process of drawing proposals and estimates of electrical installations on board of our Royal IHC vessels within IHC Systems.
As a Team lead you are responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day the D&E department.
- Preparing proposals and price estimates.
- Challenge electrical designs.
- Define the most optimum market approach .
- Actively updating the ERP and CRM alike system.
- Advising internal colleague's and customers about the option they will have (often customized solutions) as well as proactively approaching stakeholders - including suppliers - in order to collect information concerning market developments.
- Assisting the sales department in participating in international exhibitions and preparing customer presentations.
- Report directly to the Manager Sales of IHC Systems.
Your profile
- At least five years of work experience in the Design and Estimating in the maritime industry.
- High-level technical education.
- Ability of managing our internal - and external relations with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken, in Dutch and English.
- Sound commercial insight.
- The ability to manage resources to achieve short deadlines.
- A service-oriented and flexible attitude with an eye for detail.
- The ability to work as an effective team member.
