Your Job
As (Junior) Planner Engineering, you will look after the engineering schedules in all its phases within the Engineering department. You will support the Engineering project teams in preparing the schedules, monitoring the progress and optimize resource capacity. Depending on the size of the projects, you may be responsible for more than one project at a time. Within the projects, you will be the linking pin between our engineering teams and the other departments. In addition, you will always be looking two steps ahead, and recognize bottlenecks, risks and opportunities. You will also have the capacity to act effectively at different levels in the planning and maintain a permanent helicopter view.
As (Junior) Planner Engineering you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing, updating and monitoring the project schedule (time, capacity, progress).
- Reporting on progress, issues and planning risks.
- Consulting with the engineering team leaders, lead engineers, project planners, and others about the causes of (possible) bottlenecks.
- Exploring various scenarios and advice on solutions.

Your Profile
To be eligible for the position of (junior) Planner Engineering Shipbuilding you must have the following:
- A (technical) bachelor degree, if you have a technical background it's a Pre.
- Preferably but not necessarily knowledge of engineering processes and planning methods, including network planning earned value analysis and stress curves.
- Interest in working with our planning software Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding analytical skills, precise, proactive, self-reliant, innovative, customer-focused and flexible.
- Good communication skills in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
As working with Primavera P6 is an important part of your job, we will provide training to learn Primavera and other aspects within the planner function. You also work together with an experienced planner.
