As a Naval Engineer you are responsible for:
As a Naval Engineer structural you are a key player in bringing your ideas to life in close cooperation with other departments, with the common goal to deliver tangible products - first time right.
You will be
- setting up a 3D structural design according to specifications, rules and regulations and yard standards
- integrating the interfaces of equipment and outfitting into your 3D structural model
- optimizing the structural design by developing related drawings, such as tank arrangement plan, block section plan, docking plan, etc.
- keeping a keen eye for production friendly design
Job requirements:
- in possession of a diploma from a higher, practical education institution (MBO / HBO)
- a good communicator and can navigate efficiently in an international environment
- an advocate for hands-on, practical, no-nonsense attitude: you see solutions instead of bottlenecks
- bringing many years of proven experience in developing structural maritime designs, from conceptualization to preparing for detail engineering to the table
