HR Specialist (fulltime, for 12 months)
In your role as HR Specialist, you will be supporting the HR department in Veenendaal. It requires a high degree of discretion and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. You will act as the center of the backbone of the HR department. Therefore structure, flexibility and execution power must be words that resonate with you. We are constantly striving for efficiency and are improving our processes and are keen to maximize all ideas in order to add value to the service we deliver.
We are looking for an assertive, proactive and organized HR Specialist to make sure the HR department is in control and flawless. With your drive, and sharp observations you will ensure the department delivers, is reliable and creates trust. You are an ambassador for Elekta’s values (open, inspiring, confident and energetic). As HR Specialist in Veenendaal, you will be needed and have responsibilities in the areas of:
HR administration, payroll, document management, reporting, recruitment, performance management, talent development, learning and development, absenteeism.
In general, we need you to:
- Provide assistance and administrative support to the HR Business Partners and HR Director.
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Maintain employee trust and protect operations by keeping information accurate and confidential.
- Compile and update audit proof employee records.
- First point of contact for employees and managers concerning HR related questions.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to our payroll administration.
- Check and complete administration for new starters and leavers.
- Prepare official documentation (contracts, letters).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, talent development, recruitment, learning & development, performance management, etc).
- Track & report illness and general absenteeism.
- Liaise with external providers such as leasing company, health and safety service, etc.
- Coordinate HR projects and events.
- Maintain the handbook personnel.
- Maintain high quality service by following organization standards.
Your skills:
- A bachelor level.
- Up-to-date knowledge of and experience in HR administration and Dutch labour law.
- You are accessible and you have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member.
- Experience in a multicultural international environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidential in dealing with sensitive matters.
- Able to multitask and feel comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Proactive and able to prioritize and work under pressure.
- You have advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
