To meet the demands and requirements of tomorrows dredging, Royal IHC is developing a more autonomous dredger. One of the great challenges of autonomy is detecting and diagnose behaviour. Royal IHC has developed a Data Driven Solution that is capable of preforming such diagnosis in a limited set of cases and is looking to expend its usefullness.
Therefore Royal IHC is seeking for students that are interested in performing a thesis or an internship at IHC Digital Business Systems.
AssignmentYou will examine, challenge and further develop the current Data Driven Solution for the detection and diagnosing behavior together with our R&D team. You will have the opportunity to choose which area of the solution you wish to improve, from clustering by using transformed natural language encoders, K-nearest neighbor and using embedded deep neural networks to system modeling using deep believe networks, recurrent neural networks or heuristic space exploration and estimation methods. Of course any personal idea is more then welcome to be explored within this project.
We are looking for students who meet the following profile:
- enrolled in a Master degree (WO), preferably Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or physics.
- analytical view
- proactive and self-starting with a hands-on work mentality
- good communication skills
- fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
