What we need
- A strong foundation of the software engineering skills, experience and understanding needed to create high-quality code
- Experience with software development for the web, with at least working with Node.js
- Good understanding of Node.js and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
- Experience with back-end architecture and familiarity with concepts like API design, microservices, database optimization, caching strategies, and scalable system design
- Experience with other frameworks and tools like Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, TypeScript, and should be able to choose the best tools for the project at hand
- GraphQL knowledge is preferred
- Full-stack experience is preferred

- Ability to learn quickly and understand complex systems
What you’ll do
- Develop (& possible Design) and extend Node.js applications: The back-end developer will be responsible for developing ($ possible designing) Node.js applications, and should be able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with front-end (and other specialty) developers: The back-end developer should understand the best way to construct the system as a whole, and be able to effectively deliver a working end-product
- Ensure code quality and maintainability, implement best practices to ensure that the codebase is stable and easy to maintain
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Node.js and back-end community and should be able to implement new features and improvements as needed
