YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic Transport Coordinator to join our team at the CEVA site in Bleiswijk. Our facility spans a massive 140,000 square meters and handles a high volume of daily inbound and outbound transport movements. As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination of transport operations between the Controlroom, in- and outbound office, carriers, and customers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Point of contact: act as the primary point of contact within the warehouse for all matters related to inbound and outbound transports;
• Planning optimization: optimize the weekly planning of outgoing transports, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness;
• Communication: maintain constant communication with the control room throughout the day to coordinate the dispatch of orders;
• Dock planning: provide valuable insights and advice to the shipping team regarding dock planning to streamline operations;
• Ad Hoc transport requests: handle ad hoc transport requests promptly and efficiently by liaising with carriers.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A completed mbo-degree (transport or logistics);
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating transport in a warehouse or similar environment;
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels within the organization;
• Ability to think analytically and work in a structured manner to solve complex logistics challenges;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Because public transport opportunities are limited to and from our warehouse, having you own transportation is mandatory;
• Full time availability, working 3 shifts (early shift 6:15 - 14:45, late shift 14:45 - 23:15 and (once every 5 weeks) a night shift 23:15 - 6:15.
