What you do as an Electrical Engineering Intern (MCF/ Data Centres)
If you are an Electrical Engineering student with advanced knowledge and skills in building design, you will find a challenging and rewarding internship at Royal HaskoningDHV. You will work with some of the most demanding customers in the world and collaborate with our global colleagues. You will also use 3D design tools to deliver detailed and high-quality solutions for our MCF projects. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Setting up electrical single line diagrams;
- 3D modelling of electrical building-related installations;
- Performing electrical calculations.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross borders. In addition to participating in projects, you naturally also contribute to the optimization of our internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within your field.

As our new Design Manager (MCF/ Data Centres) you will become part of our Global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team.
Our global MCF team provides multidisciplinary consultancy services to datacenter clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. The team is diverse, with expertise in areas like electrical and mechanical engineering, construction, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together, this knowledge is used to develop integrated designs for Data Centres. You will be part of a dedicated, passionate team that is globally recognized as one of the best in Data Centre design and engineering. Curious about our work? What you bring
You are an entrepreneurial, result oriented, proactive student with a positive flexible and problem-solving attitude. Besides that, you have:
- A Bachelor's/ master's student Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
- Excellent command of English (and preferably Dutch and/ or German);
- Experience with designing in 3D software;
- A true team player with a collaborative mindset;
- Digitally savvy and eager to embrace innovative solutions.
