About Us
We are a leading hotel chain in the Benelux with 28 hotels and various hotel restaurants. Our marketing team ensures that our hotels are optimally supported in the areas of marketing, communication, and branding. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Marketing Operations Manager to help elevate the brand experience to the next level.
Your Role
As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be the main point of contact for our 28 hotels regarding marketing matters. You will assess and determine the marketing needs of the hotels and other staff departments (such as HR, Sales, Revenue Management, or IT) and involve other marketing managers from the team as needed for implementation. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, PR & Communications Manager, and Marketing Project Manager. The tasks that you can handle yourself will be carried out with the support of your team of two marketers. You will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the daily operational support within the marketing team. From organizing team outings and birthday gifts to booking meeting rooms and tracking vacation hours—you're the one who ensures everything runs smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
- Assessing and determining marketing needs at the hotels and other staff departments and deciding which actions will be handled locally and which will be handled by specialized team members.
- Advising hotels and staff departments on their marketing needs.
- Proactively identifying local marketing opportunities for the hotels or restaurants.
- Coordinating and ensuring brand guidelines are followed across all hotels and restaurants.
- Supporting and executing (local) marketing activities.
- Keeping up with trends and innovations in the marketing and hospitality industries and translating them into new opportunities for the hotels.
- Leading and guiding two allround marketers.
- Organizing and conducting photoshoots in collaboration with the Brand Manager.
- Collaborating with external parties such as agencies, photographers, and printers to create marketing materials.
- Uploading and managing photo and video materials in the media bank.
- Gathering and consolidating year plans from the different marketing expertise’s into an overarching annual calendar.
- Writing and distributing a quarterly update from the marketing department.
- Conducting internal workshops on marketing as part of the company’s training program.
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing and/or communication.
- At least 2 years of experience in leadership and managing a team.
- Experience within the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of marketing tools and systems such as content management systems and image banks.
