Schneider Electric’s global eCommerce team, with support of SE Digital and IT teams, is working on the accelerated scale-up of various ecommerce DTC web shops and marketplace business models worldwide.

Your mission is to create a seamless and delightful online shopping experiences for both D2C and B2B customers of our global ecommerce platform. This role requires a strong understanding of user behaviours, ecommerce design principles and technical capabilities to define, design, build and test experiences/user interfaces that drive engagement, conversion, and retention. As a UX/UI designer you need to blend analysis, design, prototyping and testing to deliver exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive user research, analyze data to identify user needs and pain points to develop the UX strategy.
- Design journey maps, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
- Create strong branded User interfaces with attention to ecommerce and ensure brand and design consistency.
- Develop high fidelity prototypes and conduct usability testing to gather feedback, identify improvement area’s and iterate to reach the best solution.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Lead Developer, cross functional teams, and other stakeholders to identify and provide User experience/UI solutions that will delight the customer.
- Communicate design concepts and rational effectively to all stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance the e-commerce design system including UI components, design patters and documentation.
- Introduce new components or design updates to improve consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the ecommerce platforms.
Your Skills
- 5+ years of work experience as an eCommerce UX/UI designer or similar role
- Experienced in designing international eCommerce experiences for different persona’s (preferably B2B and B2C)
- Proficiency in user experience design principle, methodologies, and strong visual design skills with an eye for details.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices including merchandising, conversation rate optimization and A/B testing.
- Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform design decisions.
- Ability to define, design, develop and test User experiences and UI’s.
- Experienced user of Figma.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and products at once.
- Great communication skills and ability to articulate complex user problems into User experience and UI solutions.
- Start-up hustle mentality combined with a strategic and creative mind.
- Team spirit and great communication skills.
