Office Management Intern
About the role
As an Office Management Intern, you will be able to gain working experience in the complete field of Facility / Office management. You will have an opportunity to support the facility manager with promoting a healthy workplace environment, well-being and other day to day building services and operations. In addition to this, you will work closely with colleagues from Community and Onboarding by supporting event planning and onboarding of new joiners.
What you will do / be involved in
- Assist in managing the reception desk
- Help maintain office cleanliness and organization, including stock management & replenishment, report and manage building maintenance issues.
- Assist with organizing and preparing company events and activities
- Support Learning and Development department including onboarding of employees
- Manage service requests from Catawikians
- Collaborate with other teams and identify opportunities for improvement of the workplace environment
What you’ll bring
- Available to start immediately
- Currently enrolled in the Dutch university, pursuing a degree in human resources, office management, hospitality, tourism or a related field
- Interest in sustainability and promoting a healthy workplace environment
- Excellent social communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to help and support where needed
- Curiosity and an openness to learn new things
- Hands on mentality, not reluctant to do simple tasks
- Fluent in English, Dutch proficiency is desired
- In this position you will be required to be physically on site in the office

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
