WHO YOU ARE
You are passionate about storytelling through film, and you're eager to bring the IKEA brand to life on screen. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, creativity, and curiosity are part of everyday work. You have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of visual storytelling, from color grading to pacing and rhythm. You're also someone who embraces feedback and continuously looks for ways to improve.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Shape the Story: Edit and assemble raw footage (including animations and live-action) into polished videos, ensuring each piece delivers on IKEA's communication goals and identity.• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Creative Leaders, Art Directors, Directors, and Producers to bring our vision to life-balancing aesthetic, budget, and timing.
• Ensure Consistency: Perform limited color correction, sound design, and grading to maintain visual and brand alignment.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date on editing tools, trends, and techniques to continuously improve workflows and final results.
• Deliver Impact: Optimize content for various platforms and formats-ranging from social media to IKEA.com ensuring maximum reach and effectiveness.
• Pre-Production Insights: Provide guidance on technical possibilities and help shape production needs from the start.
WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU
• You have 3-5 years of experience as a Film Editor or in a similar role, ideally in an international agency or production setting.• You're very advanced in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
• You understand pacing, rhythm, and storytelling and how to use them to capture attention and communicate effectively.
• You're fluent in English (both written and spoken), and you're comfortable collaborating with diverse, international teams.

This is a permanent position at IKEA Marketing & Communication in Älmhult, Sweden. To Älmhult you will find great commuting possibilities by train and buses. Our workplace approach offer you a few days flexibility working from home with the majority of time at our office. Some periods will require more time at the office.
