What you'll need to have
• You envision and empower the future of retail through creating a high-quality, affordable and unique culinary experience for IKEA customers.• You have a broad knowledge of the local food legislations, operational compliance standards and documentation with an expertise in auditing and investigating procedures, food quality assurance and control.
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in working with food safety, quality and operations as well as delivering results, planning, driving output and measuring performance (business).
• You know how consumer acts, feels and behaves in a retail environment to design and deliver a unique shopping experience in all touch points.
• You are driven to exceed goals and lead business through people with an engaged and collaborative mindset.
• You build trust and influence by communicating clearly in diverse situations and across disciplines with an inspirational IKEA tone of voice.
• You effectively follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.
What you'll be doing day to day
• Be responsible for developing and implementing common risk-based compliance plans for food safety framework, standards, WoW (ways of working), tools and KPI's.• Develop a market specific range in line with the market food safety needs, IKEA range strategy, requirements and processes.
• Bring insight and ideas to the market business plan as an integrated commercial partner.
• Make sure that equipment and facilities meet the IKEA food safety standards and legal demands.
• Actively support the knowledge transfer and information sharing to, and between, the units and cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact.
• Ensure quality of the audits, lead the information and escalation process in case of food safety non-compliance as well as review and act upon them to maintain food safety excellence throughout the year.
• Act as a member of the food team and proactively contribute to food plan/output in order to achieve the common objectives and goals.
• Be an active player in working on sustainability within food (sourcing of local ingredients, circularity in production, usage of sustainable materials and services).
• Contribute to the transformation of IKEA by driving an open and sharing climate and being a role model of our values and culture.
