Our international artist studio is offering an internship to support artwork production and gain first hand experience working in a multifaceted art environment. Working across painting, video and architecture our studio offers insights into a constantly evolving artistic practice.
For a period of three months you’ll be directly involved in the production of textile-based sculptures for a series of international exhibitions in 2025.
While the internship is focused on a specific project it will give insight into the daily operation of a high-paced studio environment, with an abundance of opportunities to learn and support the team in different ways. This internship is ideal for someone interested in textile practices, fashion design, or costume making, especially in experimental or interdisciplinary settings.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the fabrication of textile based sculptures
- Support general studio operations, administration and exhibition preparation
- Learn about materials, fabrication methods, and the logistics of artwork & exhibition production
What we’re looking for:
- An interest in contemporary art, costume, fashion and textiles
- Basic experience with textiles and sewing
- A valid B1 driver’s license (essential)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc)
- Bonus points for experience with CAD software and photo and video editing
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn
- Attention to detail and drive to achieve excellent results, ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High degree of professionalism and perfectionism
- Proficient in German and English
- Excellent written communication skills
