Your primary focus as a (Senior) SAP Analytics Consultant is to support various BI and Data Analytics projects by enabling data-driven strategies for our clients. Success in this role requires a strong passion for data and technology, coupled with hands-on experience. Additionally, candidates must possess a deep understanding of technical data architecture and the ability to design adaptable solutions that span the entire value chain of our clients. Proficiency with SAP BI platforms is essential to extract insightful data and derive meaningful business metrics. (Senior) SAP Analytics Consultants are expected to ensure our services meet the highest standards for our existing client base. Furthermore, you will cultivate relationships with new customers, identify business opportunities, and continuously adapt our team’s current and future offerings to align with market demands.

 

Your responsibilities as a (Senior) SAP Analytics Consultant:

• Design, development, go-live and support of SAP Analytics projects within an entire IT project lifecycle.
• Implement comprehensive SAP Analytics backend/frontend solutions (including visualization of operational reports and executive dashboards).Gather new reporting requirements, design functional and technical architecture solutions to solve business cases.
• Analyze existing SAP BI reporting solutions for improvements and assist with developing BI strategies for our clients.
• Create long term relationships with clients and achieve a strong reputation as a trusted advisor for BI related topics.
• Take over responsibility as (sub) project team lead and integrate new team members.
• Provide leadership and mentorship on best practices within the team.
• Identify and lead the generation of business development opportunities around BI & Analytics.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent level of education.

 

Experience:

• 3+ years of technical experience implementing SAP BI solutions.
• Skilled in backend development on SAP BW platforms (BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere) and proficiency of the ETL process.
• Demonstrated expertise in extracting data from SAP Source Systems using both standard and customized methods, including delta mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA development technologies such as CDS Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Familiarity with creating complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in frontend development with SAP tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AFO), and Web Intelligence.
• High level BI project lifecycle and go-live experience.
• Project management expertise, including project planning, task management and prioritization, as well as release management.
• Experience working on SAP projects, ideally with experience in a consulting role
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• A strong customer focus, along with an analytical and structured working attitude
• Exquisite attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple tasks with excellent problem-solving abilities.

 

Percentage of required travel: up to 100%

 

Physical requirements:

• This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.

The salary range for this role is $105,000-$120,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
