- Receive, review, and verify invoices from vendors.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate and comply with company policies.
- Code invoices to the appropriate accounts and departments.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors regarding payment status or invoice issues.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues efficiently.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
- Assist with other finance and accounting tasks as needed.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP is preferred as well as Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working in a hybrid environment with one mandatory in office day per month. May require overtime during busy periods, such as month-end or year-end.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
