We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and development tools using Azure.
You will work closely with software developers, testers, and project managers to ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure for our applications and services
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (or other CI/CD tools)
- Ensure that our systems are secure and meet compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our cloud infrastructure and development tools
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure and development tools
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices and coding standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure
This combined role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage both DevOps/GitOps practices and infrastructure management to drive the success of our cloud-based systems.
Qualifications
Must have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps/GitOps projects
- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure
- Strong understanding of networking and security concepts in Azure
- Experience with PowerShell/Bash or other scripting languages
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- Experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with monitoring solutions which ensure the health and performance of Azure resources (such as Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
