The Team – your Impact
In the Information Security Team you will join three colleagues (f/m/d) and will report to the Head of Energy Retail, Energy Infrastructure and Digital IT. As second line of defense you are overseeing security risks as well as monitoring and evaluating first lines defense mechanisms. You are ensuring the implementation of the Cyber Security framework, policies and standards and support projects by giving guidance. You will be part of a diverse cybersecurity organization across Europe that operates without silo thinking, fostering collaboration and innovation across all teams and regions.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Implement group policies, standards and procedures in local units and collect feedback and requirements from the business for our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team to consider.
- Provide information security advice, conduct risk analyses, and support risk mitigation.
- Review security classifications and determine the need for further risk assessments in collaboration with our GRC team.
- Support internal and external audits and coordinate the needs for improved information security.
- Coordinate, implement, support, continuously improve and operate the legally or internally required ISMS (in particular: IT Security Law Germany, NIS Directive, ISO/IEC 27001, B3S).
- Implement, coordinate and conduct information security awareness initiatives and trainings.
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Completed university degree in IT Security or a related field.
- Several years of experience working on the business side of an organization or in a business facing role (i.e. IT) including hands on experience working across a broad section of business or IT services.
- Proven track record in information security and/or risk management with profound knowledge of information security management and information security risk assessment.
- Experience in strategy development or strategy work within business or IT.
- Applicable Information Security Certification e.g. CISSP or CISM.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply and promote anti silo-thinking.
- Ready to take high-quality decisions in short timescales and in some cases with incomplete information.
- Strong influencing, debating and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English language skills, German skills are preferred.
