Job descriptionResponsibilities
- Monitor, challenge and report relevant performance and risk KPIs as well as deltas to plan for the group-wide Energy Markets function and E.ON Energy Markets GmbH
- Building up a new state-of-the-art reporting infrastructure for the Energy Markets (EM) portfolios and being automation enabler for visualization
- Ensure & enhance transparency of value drivers (esp. Risk types) and operational KPIs
- Provide consistent group-wide transparency of EM performance via roll-out of Performance Controlling Concept (PCC) in all E.ON regions
- Prepare Energy Markets performance dialogues with E.ON SE board and provide transparency on Energy Markets value add and financial impact
- Prepare and deliver ad-hoc analysis, reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and relevant decision bodies
- Interface to various central and regional stakeholders: regional Risk & Finance functions, Energy Markets (central and regional functions), Group Risk, Digital Technology, board etc.
Requirements
- Numerate and analytical university degree
- Experienced in energy sector, including energy procurement, sales or trading as an Analyst, Energy Economist, Commercial Controller, Risk Manager or Front Officer
- Track record in automation of (big) data processes or data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
- Good commercial understanding of the performance drivers of a commodity or energy portfolio; ability to translate root causes into clear, intuitive and insightful explanations for stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills in effective communication, partnering, customer individual storytelling and empathy
- Willingness to work in commercial and high performance markets environment; proactive, self-motivated and flexible regarding workload and changing priorities
- Languages: English, German would be advantageous
