Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Talent Development and Learning Manager to work alongside internal partners, including HRBPs, executive leadership and people managers, to drive talent management and development strategies within Porsche Group Companies across North America. In this strategic role, the right team member will plan and deliver on talent management strategies designed to engage, educate, motivate and retain high-performing talent. Responsibilities include oversight of the on-boarding process, annual performance review, talent review and succession planning, talent management initiatives, leadership development strategies, ownership of the learning management system (LMS) and training resources, and more. The Talent Development and Learning Manager is strategic to Porsche's luxury positioning and fuels the culture of excitement that drives our corporate success and our entrepreneurial spirit as part of the Porsche family.
Roles & responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Designs and implements leadership development and learning strategies and programs focused on mindset growth, motivating, engaging, retaining, and educating a high performing workforce
- Supports annual succession planning by developing strategies to elevate identification and conversation, develop, administer and manage the Succession Planning HRIS module and associated process flows, provide relevant reports while partnering with Human Resources Business Partners to ensure completion of deliverables
- Works with Human Resources Business Managers, business leaders, and Porsche AG to create and support international focused experiential programs, including short-term assignments, rotation programs, exchange programs, mentor programs, leadership speaker series, etc.
- Integrates talent development measures into business dashboards to leverage insights for continuous improvement; prioritize learning needs
- Stays abreast of new trends and tools in talent development; continuously "bring the outside in," to help us maintain a leading edge in learning
- Drives strategies and facilitate onboarding and onboarding 2.0
- Manages and drives the performance review processes in partnership with the HR Business Partners
- In cooperation with the HR Business Partners, coordinates and manages the talent management discussions, provides input to identify appropriate succession plans and high-potential employees
- Facilitates effective team building events for leadership and change management strategies when necessary
- Identify, negotiate, and manage learning vendor Statement of Work, Request for Approval and Request for Proposal processes, ensuring selection of the best possible solutions for the business while managing costs
- Lead Human Resources team and external vendor partner processes to organize, conduct and evaluate, programs, content, materials, procedures, and scenarios that target company goals
- Develop and manage the Porsche Cars North America, Inc. Talent Development and Learning budget, including oversight of vendor billing, invoice payment, and financial accruals
- Manages the content and administration of LMS system (Successfactors), as well as the content and integration of other online training solutions (Skillsoft, Rosetta Stone). Ensures access to material, troubleshoots, and manages course offerings and learning paths
- Organizing and moderating quarterly Leadership Summits
- Organizing and moderating semi-annual HR Summits
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor 's degree in a related field; Master's preferred but not required
Experience:
- 5 years or more of related experience
- Prior and extensive experience required developing leadership development, targeted development and learning strategies and programs
- Experience working with a learning management system (LMS) required; Success Factors preferred
- Extensive experience leading, coaching and facilitating executives and company leaders
- Experience or formal learning in instructional design preferred
- Experience with best-in-class talent management from a strategic and operational level preferred
Skills:
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be highly organized, action oriented and collaborative
- Proficient in all MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- A bias for action, results-oriented, responsive to client needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated experience presenting learning to groups
- Excellent group moderation skills
- German speaking skills desirable

- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
