The MHP Americas SAP Finance Lead is expected to build the S/4HANA FICO capability in North America and foster it's continued growth within our SAP Operations Excellence service unit. The SAP Finance Lead requires an entrepreneurial mindset and must have proven experience in leading SAP FICO teams on large-scale projects. This position is responsible for the strategic direction of our SAP FICO consulting services, ensuring exceptional delivery and continuous growth. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. With this in mind, the SAP Finance lead will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, assist in the development new business opportunities, and continuously develop innovative skills and capabilities within the team, advancing MHP's reputation in the North American marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall strategic direction to the SAP FICO team
- Deliver to our existing and future clients the SAP Finance portfolio which includes, but is not limited to, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Business Planning & Consolidation, and Revenue Accounting & Reporting for both on premise and cloud applications
- Design and implement innovative solutions for our clients leveraging best practices in business processes and SAP
- Assist with new business pursuits and earn new business and existing clients
- Manage large projects at key accounts
- Become a trusted advisor to our customers to actively shape the future of automotive and manufacturing
- Recruit and retain top talent
- Ensure the development of the most relevant and innovative skills and capabilities within the team
- Develop and advance MHP's reputation within the North American marketplace
- Create and maintain relationships with customers, thought leaders, and industry experts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent:
- 7 years of experience in the SAP consulting industry
- 5 years of experience implementing SAP's Finance solutions
- Strong domain expertise in the business area of Finance & Controlling
- Knowledge of US-GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards
- Ability to craft innovative, strategic solutions to complex problems within the finance domain
- Project management experience including project planning, financials, resource management, change management, and risk management for medium to large SAP implementations
- Proven ability to grow and manage a business unit of 10 professionals
- Hands-on S/4HANA Finance implementation experience
- Agile certification and/or experience is preferred
- 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector preferred
Percentage of required travel: up to 100%
