- You lead one of our agile Product teams: You and the team are responsible for handling your products over their full lifecycle, i.e. starting with requirements analysis, leading to software design, implementation, test and last not least their operations in production
- You define the product vision and product roadmap for your products in collaboration with the business departments and support them evaluating the feasibility of feature ideas. You prioritize new features and organize the Sprint Planning
- You take care of the product backlog, i.e. create designs, write Epics and User Stories, facilitate Backlog Refinements, and clarify open questions with Business Architects, IT Architects and colleagues from other teams
- You align the product development with colleagues from our business departments and - in case of internal interdependencies - with other Product Owners from our IT departments
- You lead your product team (5-7 people) also as a line manager - you call the shots!
- You strike the balance between creative freedoms and necessary processes to leverage the full potential of each of your team members
- You use software tools like Microsoft Teams, Jira and Confluence for remote communication. As we promote a hybrid working model, we also meet up in person in the office regularly
- You are the IT-go-to-person for your products, and represent them internationally within the GLS Group.
- You have a computer sciences or information sciences degree, or a comparable training/professional experience
- You think outside the box and like to work in a structured manner
- You have an extensive experience of working in an agile software development team, i.e. you know that being a Product Owner requires a hands-on attitude and an allrounder IT skillset to discuss functional and technical questions with your team and your stakeholders - ideally you gained some software development experience yourself
- You are motivated to lead by example and create a fulfilling working environment for your team
- You can apply frameworks like Scrum and Kanban in practice
- You bring strong moderation skills to the table, both on site and remote
- You appreciate a multi-cultural and diverse team
- You speak English and German, and are able to understand and present complex ideas, both from the technical side (e.g. talking to your team) as well as the business side (e.g. talking to business departments)
