The MHP Americas' SAP Analytics consultant will support various BI & Data Analytics projects that supports client's data-driven strategies. This role will need to comprehend technical data architecture and design flexible and agile end-to-end SAP BI solutions along the entire value chain of our clients. The candidate needs to have experience in the use of SAP BI platforms to get insight data and derive meaningful business measures. In addition, the SAP Analytics consultant will be required to ensure our services are at the highest level of quality for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, develop new business opportunities, and continuously adjust our current and future offerings according to market demands.
Your responsibilities as a SAP Analytics consultant would be:
- Responsible for design, development, go-live and support of SAP Analytics projects within an entire IT project lifecycle
- Implement comprehensive SAP Analytics backend/frontend solutions (incl. visualization of appealing reports and executive dashboards)
- Gather new reporting requirements and design functional and technical architecture solutions to solve business use cases
- Analyze existing SAP BI reporting solutions for improvements and help developing BI strategies for our clients
- Create long term relationships with clients and achieve a strong reputation as a trusted advisor for BI related topics
- Take over responsibility as (sub) project team lead and integrate new team members
- Provide leadership and mentorship for best practices to other teams, clients and senior management
- Identify and lead generation of business development opportunities around BI & Analytics
- 3+ years of technical experience implementing SAP BI solutions
- Experience in backend development on SAP BW platforms (BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, DWC) in combination with extraction from various data sources (such as Excel, SQL databases, S/4 or other systems and applications)
- Experience in frontend development with SAP tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, WebI)
- Profound BI project lifecycle and go-live experience
- Project management experience including project planning, task management and prioritization, and release management
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Professional appearance with strong customer focus and analytical and structured working attitude
- Strong attention to details and ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks with excellent problem-solving ability
- Willingness to be based in Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL and travel 80-100%
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent education
- US Citizen/Green Card/EAD required
