- Understand what needs to be built, why, and in what way. Lead the architecture design and implementation of our software solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and system diagrams.
- Develop architectural blueprints and documentation to guide the development team in implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems.
- Define and enforce with the tech owners coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles for the software developers. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure compatibility and compliance with industry and security standards and protocols when defining interfaces between different software and when needed, hardware components.
- Support security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities with the different software development teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, Technical Owner, or a similar role, with a strong focus on software integration.
- Experience with owning the SW solution for at least 3 years from the design phase to production and dealing with the consequences of decisions made at the start
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in any mainstream backend technologies, such as Java, .NET, JS, or Python, and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and mobile application development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of any cloud infrastructure provider and its connection to continuous integration and deployment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges, propose effective solutions, and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiar with security frameworks, standards, and best practices across all system components (cloud, mobile, web)
