The International Business Development team is responsible for expanding, supporting and developing our International Key Accounts. As part of the team, you are the primary contact person for our multinational Key Accounts in Europe. In co-operation with the GLS countries and specialist departments, you will develop customer-specific solutions, sell them externally and co-ordinate them internally.
This is what your typical day looks like:
- Acquisition, development and support of International Key Accounts
- Management and co-ordination of international tenders in close coordination with our GLS countries and network partners
- Preparation and implementation of information and customer events throughout Europe
- Active monitoring of the European parcel delivery market and participation in GLS Group sales development projects
- Intensive maintenance and development of existing customer relationships
- Preparing and attending customer meetings throughout Europe
- As a basis, you have a successfully completed degree, e.g. business administration, Logistics or a comparable successfully completed vocational training with appropriate further training
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in international solution sales, ideally in the CEP sector
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills at decision-maker level
- Business fluent in English. Further language skills are an advantage
- Open, enthusiastic personality with a high level of commitment and the will to succeed
- Customer-oriented, confident and engaging manner as well as diplomatic skills paired with assertiveness
- Confident handling of common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an analytical, strategic and structured way of working
- Willingness to travel throughout Europe
